B&A SA dagger, with wooden grip:
(Usually they are made from plastic material.)
Just a little side note- B&A Daggers have a much thicker blade than traditional SA’s. I own several including a mint example. The blade does not and will not fit into an ordinary SA Scabbard. Given this fact, just a guess but I would say the B&A firm probably took Dagger blanks and finished them not really having the mean to produce arms. Also while the finish is nice on some of these it’s not like a mint Early SA lacquered Dagger.
I will add my cents... I knew when I bought mine a few years ago that it was a post war dagger (At least that’s what my searching revealed). It’s not one of my prized possession, however, it’s still a piece of history after the war. GI’s wanted souvenirs and people needed money.
It worked out well for both parties!
One of my SA Bolte & Anschutz Daggers - really nicely executed
