Question German WWII Army Officers Dress Sword Help

I was thinking about buying this sword, but I am no expert so I am going to run it by you guys to see if it is a good buy.

Is anything wrong or not original to it?

    Here is the sellers description:
"Original era manufacture. Eickhorn pattern No.1714, Freiherr von Stein. Gilded brass guard & pommel, both decorated with an oakleaf decoration. On the left langet may be seen an Army pattern eagle clutching a swastika. The blade is quite bright and clean and is fairly straight, very slight bend towards the tip. Black plastic covered wooden grip with bright silver plated copper, 3 strand wire wrapping. The undented steel scabbard shows a black paint finish with numerous little chips to the surface. Shows normal wear and use."

What were these used for? Do any of you have any pictures of them being worn?

They were used for rectal tonsilectomies.
Joking aside they were used for parades and other ceremonies.

Nothing wrong with it, a "good buy" will depend on the price?

Here is another one that costs $295 (I was not sure about the engraved eagle):

    Sellers Description:
"Original era manufacture. According to collector reference this is an unattributed model to the firm of PD Luneschloss. Brass guard & pommel with oakleaf decoration on the surface. On the left langet is an engraved Army pattern eagle. The blade shows small scattered spots of graying and is slightly bent about 4 inches from the tip. Original era leather sword knot with silver bullion ball, strap shows wear but is pliable. Black painted steel scabbard us undented but shows numerous little nicks to the paint surface. Shows normal age and wear."
