    Hello again,

This has been a rather good month for daggers. This one came up for sale recently... older gentleman starting to downsize his collection. The pics of the blade are blurry, but I can still see the cross grain. I don’t believe this one has been cleaned... handle is free from cracks and chips. A little wear on the hangers and portapee. Everything you see is included for $599.

These are the only photos I have of the blade.

I wish all of the Heer producers would make it easy by labeling all their fittings with their own producer markings internally.

The logo puts the blade at 1937 to 1940...everything else appears to be correct except that the scabbard for this production year should have 1 flush reverse scabbard side screw and not 2 screws on the sides.

Wait for further comment from Danny or Gerrit.

Nicely marked Hörster army dagger, i have np with the scabbard, i think its fits.
I have seen scabbard variations along the years (from different makers) that arent the textbook ones we know but research and internet postings showed that there is more then we thought.... a lot to be discovered there
Hörster scabbard sometimes have a very oversized throat and this one sure has that feature
