Heer hanger

Hello. Today I'm showing a heer hanger that came with my heer dagger some time ago. On most real examples, you can see some metal thread at the seams of the hanger, but on my hanger the fabric is without such a thread. I also found an example exactly like mine and others with similar hardware but the same fabric that were also determined to be genuine. In the "Near Perfect Heer Dagger Hanger Reproductions" thread, there is a genuine hilt shown with no coating left, and in the other threads, most identified as genuine examples have some remaining hilt coating as on my hanger. This conflicting information confuses me. Please give an opinion.

This is a photo of the matching example identified as real on the forum.

Its an original, but badly stored in a moistured envirement.
That made the fabric dull and damaged the potmetal topfitting.
