    Hi Larry.

    It’s my pleasure to help!

I am still unsure about the Nachschub Btl stamp, but someone suggested this -

“Nachschub Btl. 533 was mainly with 9. Armee, HGr. Mitte, so that would not match the Kubanschild entry. Nachschub Btl. 523 however, was in the South so could be perhaps.”

He also suggested the answer to the question could be on either page 4 or page 17, so if you could provide us a photo of those two pages it would be great.

    Hi Larry.

Thank you for the additional photos.

The elusive stamp was Nachschub Bataillon 523, so all the entries fit together nicely.

From page 4 we have -

    Section C
    His field units were -

    - 101. Leichte Infanterie-Division.
    - 101. Jäger-Division.
    - Stab/Nachschub Bataillon 523
    - 1a (Motorized) Nachschub Bataillon 523

    Section D
    His depot unites were -

    - Infanterie Ersatz Bataillon 435
    - Jäger Ersatz Bataillon 56
    - Fahr Ersatz Abteilung 18
    - Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 18

    Section C (last entry)
    Field unit
    1a (mot). Nachsch. Btl. 523
    = 1a (Motorized) Nachschub Bataillon 523

    Section D (Last entry)
    Present depot unit
    Kf. Ersatz. Abt. 18
    = Kraftfahr Ersatz Abteilung 18
