    Here is another FS knife that I have had for some time. It is marked on the handle near the pommel with a #2. It is also marked on the guard with a #2. The guard is also marked "Venture, HM Slater, Sheffield". The scabbard is intact.

    Very nice Ralph l have a post war one in my own collection although not as desirable as the war time dated models such as yours it makes a good filler for now.

    Odd 'screw down' pommel.

    My (immediate post war) has a plain non-screw down pommel.

    I agree with Ralph. That full hilt Raider stiletto is sweet.
    I'm still hoping to stumble across a #1 FS that I don't have
    to put a second mortgage on the house to own.
