Article about: Could anyone put me out of my misery with this one?

    Default Victorian Rifle/light infantry buttons

    Could anyone put me out of my misery with these two?
    The first is obviously Victorian, but who for?
    the second with the Kings crown, what does the RG stand for? ive seen RB on buttons for the rifle brigade but not RG before.

    About the second one, found RM, standing for Rifle Militia.
    But still searching the RG...

    Nope, can't find a RG...
    I am not saying it is, but it could be a misstroke; a button with a fault.
    You don't see them often. I got two in my collection, but not military related.
