Luger holster or is it?

Article about: Looking for help again! I would welcome your comments on the attached photos please. Is it genuine or a fake please? If it’s a wwll piece would it be for a luger? Thanks John

    The strap buckle for the flap cover strap is correct for era produced P08 holsters. Reproducers seemingly cannot get the bends with these buckles correct. Also the Waffenamp stamping is not from a later reproduced stamp.

    My Luger holster is 1937-dated, from a different (Dresden) maker. Checking mine against the above photos, all details, clarity of markings, stitching are identical and even the internal wear marks are similar. It looks 'right' and I think is genuine.

    nice it has a well used loading tool as well. those are collectable in their own right with the Waffenamp seen too.
