My Mauser Luger 1940

Article about: I disagree with your opinion, I saw Mauser luger with "57" on the side plate and it was also stamped up-side -down , I think it could be during the luger manufacture

    Great looking luger. I hope you have the idea of no silly questions.
    How did you deactivate the gun and is it reversible? I have never seen a deactivated gun here in the states so I guess it's not necessary. Also the war for Germany was heating up so fast and they were producing so many firearms the the 60 could very well be printed upside down.

    Here is another 1940 42 code in my collection.Matching except the mag.The grips have the serial # on the inside which is not always the case.Sometimes they are just E/655 marked.
