Picked up another Luger today!

Here is my recently acquired 1936 S/42 Mauser Luger. The person I bought it from thought it was a .22 because of the last two digits of the serial number, haha. When buying it, I thought it was reblued, but my FFL dealer (not the seller) assured me it was not. What do you think?

The condition is certainly much better than my other Luger, haha. Maybe this is why I'm skeptical of the finish?

Also, anyone know anything about the holster that it came with? It looks like a P38 holster but it has no markings other than "19" and "11" on the inside. It smells very old but I'm not sure. There is tape residue on the outside that I need to clean off.

Nice Luger and a great addition. Has not been re-blued but has been touched up with cold blue. The holster is a P.38, likely a commercial or private purchase of the era or early post war. The early P.38 holsters were not marked but I am thinking previous comments due to the black stitching. Thanks for sharing.
