Gents, if you have any Swiss Lugers can you post them here? I doubt we will see many as they are very very expensive, but you never know I will try and keep a record on the front page of maker, year and serial number for reference

    1. M1906 Serial number 29769 made 1929
    2. M1929 Serial number 75807 made 1944
    3. M1929 Serial number P26365 commercial luger made in 1944

Looks like a very nice Swiss luger in immaculate condition, the strawing looks mint! Many thanks for showing us

I always though the curios Swiss variation with the lacking 'bump' where the pinkie would rest very odd.

In regards to the P-49; Denmark has a 'carp'load of these. They bought in bulk and many are actually mint unissued condition.
As someone finally figuered out, what frontline soldiers has known for a while, that a single stack heel mag release quality handgun is not the way ahead, they will all soon go back in storage.
As Denmark by law is not allowed to dabble in gun dealing, these will most likely not be sold off.
Idiotic, as they each can fetch a pretty hefty price in the USA.

The P210-2/P49 is the Swiss version not the Danish version.

In Denmark its called the M/49. Often just called the 'Neuhausen' for obvious reason. A quality handgun but dated in regards to warfare. They should sell the lot of them to collectors. That will never happen. Ive had several.

Now back to the regular scheduled Swiss program ;-)

Actually the Danes got the P210-2.....
    .....and the P210-1.
You see both wooden grip versions and plastic handle slabs.

They are simply marked with the markings of the Danish contract guns.

    A 1906/29. Not mine.
I always thought the 7.65x21 Para (.30 Luger) an oddball cartridge - literally.
Ive shot it quite a lot, though mostly in an old SIG.
For the uninitiated handloader a nightmare to reload because of the bottleneck, but once fired that projectile has some speed to it!
