This turned up unissued NSDAP amongst an 8th army vets belongings thought I'd share.

Interesting armband, looks to be a later war version..

What is more interesting is that the 8th Army was never in Europe, so I imagine that the Soldier served in Europe at one point, picked up some bring backs and then ended his career with the 8th Army which is a Pacific area Command, maybe even serving in the area during the Korean War.

Any other information about the Soldier? Would be interesting to track his/her history..

At either circumstance it's a nice looking variation armband.
