German Medal Identification / Translation
Hello! I hope this is the right forum to post this in!
I am new to your forum and I do not speak German.
I have two German medals I am trying to identify. It would be great if someone could translate them for me!
I tried taking various photos of these medals, and the text is simply unreadable.
A 2400 DPI scan seems to have done the job, but the image is about 12MB.
The max size for a jpeg on this forum is 225kb, so I had to upload it in a zipped folder.
Please take the time to download the image and zoom in - I know this is a lot to ask, but I don't know where else to go!
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

There is only one photo, and it seems to be much too large to upload it that way. I placed it in a zipped folder because of size limitations.

Try this;
1. Save the image to PC.
2. Right click on the image and open it (left click) with MS Paint.
3. On the toolbar select "Image".
4. Left click "Resize/skew".
5. Reduce the horizontal and vertical values to 50%.
6. Click OK (you will see the image shrink).
7. Save the image either as is or with another name if you want to keep the large version.
8. Repeat the proces until you have an image within the size parameter.
9. Use the forum image uploader to add the image to your post.
This works perfectly every time and I have done it probably thousands of times.

Mark
