I've found some info relating to this Regiment prior to WW2, It was, at one time, the regiment of Prince Regent Luitpold (hence the initials) and was founded in Bavaria, part of the 1st Royal Bavarian Division.
Haven't been able to trace anything after 1920 though
That's because it had ceased to exist by then.
This is almost certainly a tinnie for a veterans' reunion or other commemorative event relating to the Königlich Bayerisches 7. Feldartillerie-Regiment „Prinzregent Luitpold" of the old army.
The regiment was demobilized in 1918.
A new 7. (Bayer.) Artillerie-Regiment of the Reichswehr was raised in 1921.
In the Third Reich, it was re-designated as Artillerie-Regiment Nürnberg in 1934 and finally Artillerie-Regiment 7 in 1935.
The traditions of the old regiment were carried by the 6th battery of the Reichswehr regiment and later by the whole Wehrmacht regiment.
