Moth balls. Or is it Moth's balls? I can never remember.......

Keep it in a zip up plastic suit bag with moth balls in it and it will be fine.
You can line your closet with red cedar wood also.

If the moths can't get to it there will be no damage.
I have hundreds of wool uniforms and this works for me.

I dunno, I've never had the inkling to get that close to a real moth....., and besides the effort involved, I mean.....

I dunno, I've never had the inkling to get that close to a real moth....., and besides the effort involved, I mean.....
I guess I have been hanging out in the wrong side of town as far as 'Moths"

When an item already has moth damage, it is possible the item has moth eggs. These little critters will hatch with an immediate meal at hand. Several days in a freezer will kill the eggs and cause no harm to the garment.
