    I think that the bandolier could damage the holster (as seen on your last pics) and the modification of mine is perhaps made to avoid this...

    Because of the hooks originaly sewn to the hoster. It's easier to take the bandolier off with the system of my holster IMHO

    That's this ....
    The sewing of the hook on the holster wasn't strong enough to hold the weigh of the weapon...(especialy with artificial leather)
    You can easily see that it's not the case of my holster ...But it's only my opinion....

    Okay, I hadn't even thought about that point before! Interesting thought. Maybe that's also a reason why many PL preferred the old version with the wide leather loop on the back, that you could put directly on the belt, which was certainly more stable and, moreover, has proven itself for many years!
