I tried to create a sort of chronological survey about the development of the various, official tunics as worn by the males from the RAD during the period 1933 through 1943. For this I have reviewed some thousands of pages of any kind from my files. The images included with this information will be shown. Not included are the tailor’s variations and the in-depth descriptions for manufacturing a specific tunic. Many would not be able to read it properly and so it only would be ballast. Not all was ever covered and/or announced when changed. What will be shown is a load of information and practical for those who like to know about the tunic from their collection they have at hand. Over 35 images will be included (it will take a while before all is loaded for this thread)!
RAD-tunic from Gwar (as shown in another thread):
Compare this form of tunic with the coming drawings and information as the phrased official ones. Or find out if it is a tailor’s variation!
