Article about: I just picked up this nicely worn cap removed cloth eagle. I assume this is an early variant of SA cap eagle because it doesn't look like any others I've seen on the O/S caps. I photographed

    I just picked up this nicely worn cap removed cloth eagle. I assume this is an early variant of SA cap eagle because it doesn't look like any others I've seen on the O/S caps. I photographed it next to two early pattern metal eagles for size reference. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Al

    I think your eagle can be for the early Hitlerjugend side cap.
    I add four links to compare .
    HJ Side Cap
    Hitler Youth side cap, Good?
    Hitlerjugend HJ side cap, early type- NSDAP & non-Combat
