Most often they cannot give answers as they do not have any records left. Or
simply deny that produced during the TR. This is what I found out when asking
metal fitting manufacturers for their cooperation. There were some that denied
having produced for that period, but I had a cataloque or leaflets from that
time.

Thanks Wilhelm I have contacted companies like Norden for research on some items, quite helpful but of course I understand the TR connections can be a problem. My neighbor down the street is over 90 years old he actually flew on some of the Schweinfurt bombing missions,

The item is so left field and know where close to anything I have ever seen. Will post on some other sites to see I can drum up some chatter about it,
