So, this cap could be old, much older then the 1900's?

So it would seem... but I really don't want to comment on that, as it is totally not my field and what I info I could find is from internet research.

Thanks again. I know the university of Marburg had during the Third Reich-period about fifteen Kameradschaften.
Most of them were granted a name between 1938 and late 1940.
At Marburg members of the Kameradschaften held the traditions for the Teutonia-corps.
Especially Kameradschaft IX with the name Carl Allmenroeder (Allmenröder), who was a
Teuton. They kept the old traditions alive!
This is the corps-house for Teutonia.
