It looks suspect to me. The red is too orange, though that could be poor color reproduction of the photo. However, on the obverse, the swastika arms look too thin and the "Werkschutz" lettering is also a bit narrow on the vertical strokes. The swastika is usually painted black, but there are examples of it painted silver. On the reverse, there is no square feature on the right side (opposite the rectangle feature with "H. Aurich" in it). Every good example I've seen has this feature. There is also no serial number, though I have seen authentic examples without numbering. I've included an example I used to have for comparison.

Also, look at the way the catch is held on this original example. It is set into a channel. That is not the case on the one you've shown.
