Hello Ivan
nice buckle .
Looks for me like a cleaned ground dug in good condition .
The prong bare therefor can be replaced .
Assmann nickel silver Bahnschutz has the typical small Assmann ears .
The embossed image also differs from Assmann .
My idea would be Overhoff as a manufacturer.........
Here a typical Assmann :

Thanks Markus
Could be, but the ground dug nickelsilver buckles acquire a brownish tone very difficult to eliminate, the details of the buckle are magnificent, they would have disappeared in case of using powerful abrasives
It is the same buckle that Marc Verstraete posted in this old WAF thread
Deutsche Reichsbahn - Wehrmacht-Awards.com Militaria Forums
With the same catch, same tone and bend prongs
Hello Ivan,
i know this old thread but does not changes my opinion .
The cleaned finish and the oxydation spots on it are clearly ..............
The pin head on the underside let me say it is not from any maker !!!!!!
Here another cleaned ground dug buckle . I restored it by my self .......
