David, Hope you are well. I believe this is the Assmann variant in zinc you may be referencing I posted a few years ago. The "A" for Assmann is marked on Swaz on back of buckle and also stamped on clip for keeper as well.

A fabulous DRB buckle, as is the previous one also by Assmann that you have so kindly showed. I am by the way with Forum Member “toot” with regards to appreciating the condition of both, over buckles which are perhaps a tad tired and distressed. Intensely subjective and of course, all down to a collectors personal taste.
Superb examples of this particular DRB buckle.
