DLV bukcle I would like help with identification

Hey guys! Yesterday's acquisition is a DLV, straight-wing eagle, I think Assmann Belt Buckle. An early nickel example. Size: 63mmX47mm. I think the paint could have been scraped off the cross. I would like to know what you said about it, I think it is original, but I would be very interested in the opinions of knowledgeable members. Thank you for your valuable help. Peeloo

It's a good stuff.... Assmann made... German says :" gut getragen" mit "Charme und Charakter" (well worn" with "charm and character")
English = salty???

Maybe you can say that the cross could have been scraped off or it could just be the unpainted version? Thanks Peeloo
