Imperial belt buckle find - good or bad?

Hello folks,

Not at all knowledgeable on belt buckles. I took a punt on this one for 10€...

I can see it is missing the metal loop on the back...

What are your thoughts?

Weimer roundel on a brass box, also look at the cut prongs, if original possible Berge & Nolte, I will have a closer look when time permits

I guess this is trying to be a Reichwehr buckle. These are usually pebbled nickel. There are steel ones with a smooth field. Is this a brass box? If if is I would say it isn’t period.
