7 months on and approaching the 8th year of Virtus (EIGHT YEARS?!!!!) and those £10-each bins at War & Peace are looking less and less likely....ANOTHER PRICE INCREASE...over double the prices seen in March '22...and yet I've not seen one in footage of events in Ukraine

5 months on and we're still running with Virtus - AND it's out-lived the £10 bins at War and Peace...it's even out-lived War and Peace itself! But is this the start of the end...the BIG decline...the collapse of the market...the slippery slope to the £10 bins??? but I've still not yet seen one in footage of events in Ukraine

The longest running (and most undervalued / under appreciated) scientific (?) survey rumbles on......

If you can make out what *any* helmet is underneath all the addons and fabric and bits of tree then you're a far far better man than I. (TBH life is too short, I don't even try any more, unless the chinstrap is *very* distinctive and I just can't resist.)

By the way, I still haven't found those lost Virtus bolts, so if anyone has a couple of spares let me know (yes, as much chance as a Swiss M18 original for sale in Cardiff for £25 postfree, I know I know...)

Well over 8 years in service now....and nearly 6 months on into the longest running helmet market pricing study....it seems wrong that this one should go up in price as they're more regularly released...but there is a helmet-hungry war on. 'not sure whether a slight decline this year represents a crash....let's see in '24. I have been asked for a more regular update and even a weekly Podcast.....you just can't please everyone can you....

For the first time I've tried to understand, in real terms, how the prices would have impacted the money in your pocket over the course of this survey. It would appear that if you had bought a Virtus helmet in August 2017, you'd would be at least £322 out of pocket today (not allowing for inflation etc) but you would have a helmet....
