Hi everyone, time to update was going on with modern Canadian helmets yesterday, now & tomorrow. Information is scarce.

Let's start with a video dating from 2007 showing testing for the next helmet. Canadian Army Tests New Ballistic Helmet.wmv - YouTube

Update on the Canadian post CG634 helmets.

The CM735 contract was awarded in 2015:

The Composites and Defence Systems business of Morgan Advanced Materials has been awarded the Canadian CM735 Combat Helmet contract. The improved helmet features an innovative ultra-lightweight hybrid composite structure, the result of more than three years of materials research and development and achieves outstanding ballistic performance at an extraordinarily low weight.

The helmet also features Morgan’s latest ballistic and fragment composite technology, which helps to avoid severe injury from back face deformation and dynamic impact to the user’s head when the shell is hit by fragments. Morgan’s new CM735 Canadian shell provides very high levels of ballistic performance with weight savings of approximately 23 percent over the existing CG634 shell with a weight of less than 920 grams (32 ounces).
    Edited Press release.

The CM735 adopted in 2016 is an improved CG634.
The shell kept the shape of it's predecessor, kept also the same chinstrap & liner.
Accessories still have to be mounted with harnesses.

Weight was brought down to 920g or less from 1470g (medium size) while the protection increased.

I believe those pads have been put in after removing the original liner system. Note that the US MICH helmet uses a foam padding system in its ground-combat helmet instead of webbing. The only pad system approved for use in combat is manufactured by Team Wendy and supplied by National Industries for the Blind. These pads may also be used with the CG634.
