Rossi, A first class sword to be proud of. Nicely done!! Best Regards, Fred
Wait...wait...do I spy a hairline scratch in the gilding??? Rossi...I'm ashamed you would settle for a piece like this....
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Excellent looking sword!
The portepee is in outstanding condition.
But that is what I have come to expect of the quality items you have collected.

A beautiful sword Rossi!
Believe it or not I found one in my late in laws attic wrapped in a plastic bag last week!!!!
It's a Field Marshall Blucher sword but with a different Portepee. I'm guessing it's been up there for 35 years or more.
Sad! I haven't done anything to it and don't know if I should?
I've attached some pictures. Trying to identify the Portepee. It's been suggested it's a Land Customs Portepee. I'm leaning more towards a
LAND CUSTOMS OFFICER'S SWORD PORTEPEE.
Again that's one beautiful sword you have!

Hi Steve
I will allow this post as it is Eickhorn related but not comparable in pattern.
Preferably it would be best when sharing same producer Edged types that 1 or 2 photos would be enough since you already have a thread started in the same forum.
The thread started by Kirk should focus on his Pattern sword and producer and not to draw attention away from the thread starters topic.
Its a fine line of a decision to make on my part ..but I would give you the same consideration and attention if another posted in your thread.
No Harm no foul ..just keeping the threads tidy.
Regards Larry
