Looks great. Can you share please what you used to polish and clean up the sword? I have a sword where the brass looks faded and always I am a bit scared of using chemicals. Only use weapon oil on the blade and give it a wipe with a cloth.

@Vocht : I didn't do it myself and sent the sword to a skilled friend of mine whose hobby is to renovate old maids like this one :He is in REIMS, not that far from Netherlands so you could give it a try ! Reasonable prices and fast service !
