A most peculiar sword

Article about: I have only grabbed a couple of pictures off the net as this peculiar sword is on it's way to me. My opinion at the moment before it arrives is that it could be a liberated Gendarmerie Royal

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

A similar sword was looked at not too long ago, but regrettably, as was stated it looks like one of the recent Chinese fakes. And not knowing the source or description one can only guess - but it should have had the following disclaimer:

    這是為了那些客戶誰想要一個來自東方的前20世紀的德國第三帝國的紀念品。
