Hello to all,

An interesting information i gathered recently concerning Prison Admin portepees from a very comprehensive article ( in French ) by A. TAUGOURDEAU :

Officers whom had previously been in the Heer, Police or Customs were allowed to wear the ditto knot on their saber once working for the Prison Administration. Maybe that applied to Justiz also ?
That could explain swords being worn with the alleged "wrong" knots that do look period and legit nontheless ...
