Hi Kurt...any chance of getting photos of the whole degen ?
What I am seeing in the etch is consistent in detail with other panel etches ...but ...I would prefer to have a few more eyes on this as well.

Not a well executed etching, poor definition of some lettering and borders are not clean like normally seen with a Solingen etching. Peter Daniel Krebs was not a maker who produced their own etchings but did apparently used some designs under licence from Robert Klaas. However this is nothing like a Robert Klaas etching. I think it's more likely a post war addition to the sword.

The last picture shows very unclean panel borders, totally not meeting the period standards of the 3th Reich.
