Sword 32 (63) The manufacturer of this sword is not known as there are no markings on the blade. It is a standard army pattern sabre with a Political Eagle.

I have used this thread to compare the langets etc with all the other Political Eagle pattern swords and believe that the thread works as the sword listed at No 30 Sword 127 by Paul Seilheimer has a number of identical features such as the langets, ferrule and back strap. One minor variation is the eagle head which faces the opposite way. I now consider this to be an unmarked Seilheimer sabre?

Sword 36 (66) The manufacturer of this sabre is not known as there are no markings on the blade It is a standard army pattern sabre with a Military Eagle. There are similarities to Sword 24 (101) to include both the obverse langet eagle and the reverse langetstyle. Other hilt fittings such as the ferrule etc also match this hilt. In my opinion, there are sufficient similarities to suggest that this sword is by the firm of FW Holler??
