Hi Virgil welcome to the forum and Merry Christmas
I dont see any glaring issues with this dagger ..but sharper Kreigsmarine eyes such as Danny dr73 might see something I dont.
Looks great. Thankyou for posting

Merry Christmas to you too from France and thank you for your reply Larry ^^

Hi Virgil,
only my humble opinion, the scabbard seems to be an Alcoso one with replaced screws. And the felt under the crossguard must be red by WKC. The hanger strap seems to be from the postwar time.
Best,
Oleg.

What Oleg says .. far surpasses my knowledge on these types of daggers.

Thanks a lot Oleg and Larry for your feedback.
I saw that there were some experts including Oleg among all the discussions.
Otherwise, wherre is the possibility to find red felt and original pair of hangers ?
Best Virgil
