    Dear friends,

I've managed to stumble upon a battleship-etched bladed naval dagger from the Clemen & Jung firm. I've seen two other daggers with that kind of blade (one that was blued and gilded) from the Eickhorn firm. I tried to find more information regarding this etching, but have found nothing regarding the purpose of the etching, nor its makers. If anyone can provide any assistance, I would greatly appreciate it.

    Thank you in advance,
    Zoglet

Curious of the Clemen & Jung producer not being used before 1945 as it is listed as so in Olegs Kriegsmarine Producers list.

What am I missing or misunderstanding.

    Navy daggers producers.

    Hi Larry,

I don’t mean the manufacturer, but only the etched mark. The daggers with a stamped maker marks are OK.

This is a post of a member of the GD Forum I have seen a few years ago.
Maybe this wouldn’t be 100% convincing for me, but I very often come across a daggers with this maker mark and with a fake motif, like a dagger in this thread.

    Oleg.

Hello .The blade is post war 1960s .The Laboe monument near Kiel and battleship were never on 3rd Reich blades .Though it look good though. The Clemens& Jung oval motto looks etched not stamped according to Tom Wittman the oval was used but stamped .This oval was used on post war blades also .The shield with a z in it are what blades have and usually the opposite side also has Clemens &Jung Solingen Stamped also. Thankyou Oleg

C & J only stamped their blades with their logo.
