Hi all,

I have an item that I am told is a Blockade Runner Badge.

It comes from a box of similar badges that I have been told is full with
genuine stuff and not to take too long inspecting them as any I like I
must purchase quickly.

I will not do that without running them past the expert members of this forum.

Unfortunately not. Wrong details on the obverse, wrong hardware on the back, makers mark incorrect.

I sort of guessed really.

I have 2 U-Boat badges. WW1 and a WW2 to go and fully expect a full house
of fakes.

Don't give up on it Mart, one bunch of bad badges isn't so bad. If you can return them without a financial hit, get back out there and get some good ones.
