Re: Assortment of medals..
Thank you Adrian! That last medal (if real) is probably from the 1st world war, but I've been trying to search militaria websites for some info but no luck yet..

Re: Assortment of medals..
Try posting it in the Imperial forum, I'm sure the guys there will be able to help.

Re: Assortment of medals..
The obverse reads 'Prussia's Brave Warriors', the reverse ‘Preussisches Kriegs Erinnerungs Kreuz’ (Prussian Commemorative War Cross). The Cross was established after the end of World War I by the Vereinigung Preussischer Kriegsteilnehmer im Deutschen Kriegerbund, a benevolent organisation for former Prussian combatants, to be awarded for outstanding service. It was paid for by membership dues and/or donations.
Regards, Ned.

Re: Assortment of medals..
Great info Ned and Outpost
I hate to talk money on the forum, but I just need a rough idea of how much that medal may go for, I want to offer the guy a fair price for the medal so at least he gets his fair share :-)
Is this medal easy to find or not?

Re: Assortment of medals..
It's not particularly rare, and it's a bit specialised too. I'd offer him 900- 1000 Rand, everyone goes home happy.
