I just picked up a Juncker silver class myself. At the risk of sounding redundant, I think it is a fine example! Better pics are needed with the pin closed.
Ok guys, I have 2 more for review! Turns out the owner has three of these, not just the one posted earlier! He just sent me some very detailed shots of #2 and #3 below. What do you think? How do you tell which version each of the 3 of these are (bronze, silver or gold) since they've lost their color over the years?
Badge #2 (click on each photo to enlarge)
Badge #3 (click on each photo to enlarge)
Thanks!

They both are Juncker made, not sure of the type, either 1 or 2, i am pretty positive type 1. Badge #2 imo is a Bronze, and #3 is a Silver(possibly), #3 has a fair amount of pest.... is he selling the other two badges, if so, let me know, lol!
Thanks Newbie. What do you think the original one I posted is, gold, silver or bronze?
Thank You all for sharing your pic's of the APB. I have always loved this badge and it great to see real one's.
Thanks Again

Here is mine for comparison......
wow...kinda blurry, try this one... this is after the Vaseline bath also...
I would suggest badges 2 and 3 were both bronze judging by the remnants of finish visible.
Excellent photographs too!
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
I am going to have to agree with Adrian, i retract my statement about #3 ...i was just comparing it with other known examples i have saved on my computer.
