Beobachterabzeichen, GWL
This bird touched down for me at the weekend, and it's one of the Luftwaffe badges I've craved for many years.
Thankfully I was able to fundraise and get this lovely early nickelsilver and tombac version by GWL.
Now to sell my house and get the combined Pilot/Observer version in the same condition!!!
Now that's a beauty!

Exellent. I much prefer the GWL Luftwaffe awards to Junker etc ,(but due to expense is the reason i have none but i get to admire yours for free) Very nice indeed, Regards Paul
