Books you recommend
Hi,
in order to decrease the number of my "is it fake or not?" posts, could you please recommend books which you consider "bibles" for a german militaria collector (relating especially to medals, but also maybe headgear).
I already own:
SS Regalia and Detecting the fakes by Mr. Lumsden,
Nazi Regalia by Mr. Fowler
German Awards of the Third Reich by Mr. Pavlik (a Czech book)
but those, although beautiful books, all of them, offer only a general overview of the topic.
I already contacted Heukemes as regards Heukemes Publishing - The General Assault Badge.
I would prefer, if that is possible, also if the books are offered by one seller, so that I could save on shipping costs.
Thanks!

Re: Books you recommend
Hi Arez
You can buy Detlev Niemanss 2004 catalog very cheaply on eBay these days, alltough not a reference book you could still use it as one. The prices of most items haven't really changed in the last 4 years and most German medals/badges from 1871-1945 are described in it.

Re: Books you recommend
Thank you all,
seems that I will buy the Detlev Niemann catalogue as Nick VR suggested. I hope they still have the "damaged condition" items, which they offer for EUR 50. It seems that this book will be enough to kill all my free time for a few months...
