Demjansk Shield - Real or fake?

I was given this shield from a family friend awhile back. I'm pretty sure it is a reproduction/fake - but I would appreciate any help in identifying if it is indeed a copy.

I think this is a fake known as the six log fake. The inner stack of logs closest to the swastika on the left has six logs whereas the inner stack on the right has seven.

There is a thread here about a similar shield and there is also a link within that thread to another.
