Hello and welcome to the forum, can you re-post your pics direct to the forum please, the first pic is missing and when these get taken off imageshck, the thread will be useless because there won't be any reference pics.
Anyway, from the pics we can see, I'm not liking the badge. The swastika is too thin compared to originals and the pitting on the back shows it's been cast. I'm not sure if IMME marked their pilots badges with 'BERLIN' either. Hopefully one of the other guys can add more.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Thank you for your reply. I hope some other people here can say something more about this medal.
Check this out. Does it help? There appears to be significant differences to me.

We shall stick it out to the end, but we are getting weaker of course, and the end cannot be far.
It seems a pity, but I do not think I can write more. R. SCOTT.

I'm not liking this one either. As Ned said, there are lots of differences. One being the lack of feather cut outs on wing tip.
Adrian has also expressed my other concerns.

Hello Flieger,
How can you see, that this medal is not an original one?
Thanks and best regards,
Dennis
Hello Flieger,
Thank you for your answer. The point is: I can buy a complete luftwaffe pilot (boots, trousers, jacket, flare pistol, belt, gun holster,) and some small stuff, including this medal. I also thought that it wasn't a good one, also because the swastika.
Best regards,
Dennis
Thanks for sorting the pics Dennis and for adding the obverse.
JMME used parts from Juncker as far as I know so it is possible to find variations. I think the eagle is trying to be a Juncker 1st pattern but it is totally unlike any original.
