Looks good Pammy I have A few of these too what do you mean double frosted? Dont think silver is hard to find or the gold or bronze. The small and medium can be though.......ERIC
Hi eric,double frosted as the silver frosting on it is so thick and rich and super minty.! Yeah,over the years of a freind of mine and a few other long time collectors say silver ones are just not as pleanty as if you look around you will not see as many silver compaired to the others.just an opinion as it could be our area also?yeah, i have a freind/dealer that lives close and helps me out all the time.
That is an interesting point. When I first started collecting these awards I was told exactly the same and in previous threads here I think I've made comments about it. Looking at my collection now, I've actually ended up with more silver than any other grade of Mutterkreuz.
I believe the phrase should be: "All Mutterkreuz are common, but some are more common than others........"
