Hi all !
It looks nice but is it original? If so, what kind of producer could it be?
Regards !

Hi Kleinepanzerfaust,
I’d like to start by saying that I know absolutely nothing about these awards and have myself only started collecting this year.
I would wait to hear from other far more knowledgable members of this forum to pass judgement on this.
I’d imagine that they’ll likely ask for better photos though.
However with that been said, I think I’ve found a thread that may help.
A Classification of Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch based on obverse design
Norm has provided an excellent reference tool.
To me your badge seems to match a Type 3: 8-wave “RK-type” Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch.
Possibly an unmarked Tombak badge by the company Adolf Scholze (or AS in Triangle). Eagles head looks similar but the photo is blurry and hard to tell.
The badge looks to be unmarked but I’d check under the pin on the back of the water splash. The photo provided has a heavy shadow covering where the makers mark might be.
Perhaps this is made by the maker RK, it would be maker marked if it was the case. This thread details an RK badge with faint makers mark.
Kriegsabzeichen für Minensuch-, U-Boots-Jagd- und Sicherungsverbände - Real or Fake?
Again, I’d wait for other members to respond.
I hope the linked thread at least provides some insight and a direction for further research.
Good luck in your quest,
This badge was posted on another forum and agreed that is a good tombak R.K. award and 3.1.2. in Norm's classifiacation system.
The revesre photo with the maker mark was not posted here.
So,a good original tombak R.K.
Regards,Martin.
Hi !
