A beautiful spring like day for outside chores, and figured I’d post this R. S. Naval Coastal Artillery badge.

I may be wrong, but I don't believe this is the style of hinge you want to see on this badge.

Searching for anything relating to, Anton Boos, 934 Stamm. Kp. Pz. Erz. Abt. 7, 3 Kompanie, Panzer-Regiment 2, 16th Panzer-Division (My father)
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that. I had a quick look earlier and I believe the hinge should be rectangular and set in a guide mark that is part of the die?
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Postwar Souval with replaced hardware, I suspect...And what is that Black area between the gun and the wreath?
Thanks for your input . I’m not too certain on the piece so I showed it to the forum
Not even a post-war Souval, I'm afraid. That's the hinge used by Staegemeir on his Souval copy. This is a cast reproduction of a Souval and the black finish on the beach is imitating the zinc Juncker's finish.

I had my doubts about the badge. The furniture is very odd on it.
The "RS" on Wartime Examples is different as well...
Thanks for the helpful info, Norm!
