I'm no pro on these so wait for other opinions. It could be a Type 3.2.
The photos get a bit pixelated when trying to zoom in. You often see cracks, splits, shunts from the hot press process on these awards as well as filing and sheer marks from post pressing handwork. I can't see any of these based on these photos.

Hi Map
Yeah, the pictures are off the internet so its the best I can provide. Is it the type one or two that has the slight “twist” on the sword? Sorry if I’m not using the right terminology. I had given up trying to find one of these so my knowledge on the details isn’t what it it used to be.
Based on Scapini's book. These awards are split into two main groups. Group 1 which comprises of "type 1" and "type 2" and Group 2 which comprises of "type 3" and "type 4". All were produced at the same time but with different dies.
The primary differences between Group 1 and 2 is the shape of the skull and the thickness of the Sonnenrad. Your skull is a Group 2 from what I can see from these photos.
I'm not familiar with any twists to the sword but again, these are not my specialty.

Antonio called this one a fake on WAF for those who don't use that site. It's a good copy though that'll fool someone down the road unfortunately
Hmmm too bad. Its been bid up high than i can afford anyhow. I appreciate the responses fellas!
Unfortunately someone bought it for $1675.00 ! I really feel for the people loosing that kind of money but the seller guaranteed it to be original so if the buyer checks around he can get his money back . It was on gun broker .
“Guaranteed Original” is part of 90% of that sellers auction titles.
