Article about: I was just looking at the Luftschultz bar posted by Kryton and saw some comments about this being a rare award ? I've had this miniature chain for at least 15 years and have never posted it

    I was just looking at the Luftschultz bar posted by Kryton and saw some
    comments about this being a rare award ?

    I've had this miniature chain for at least 15 years and have never posted it
    because I thought it was a quite ordinary looking piece. I would appreciate
    any thoughts on the matter.

    It looks okay to me. Nice chain!
    If you take a look at the link posted in the other thread, you will see that your miniature even has the correct attachment method.

    It is the Verdienstkreuz für Kriegshilfe (merit cross for war aid)
    It was awarded for "services in the war effort at home"
