Narvik Shield real or fake

So I stumbled upon a seller online with a Narvik Shield, which I would like to purchase. Though I am new to collecting and I am having a problem authenticating if this one is real or a reproduction. The things that stand out to me, are the portions between the wings have not been cut out; though I have read that some models were not. The next major one is the material the pins were attached to the back side. The shield is missing some detail though that could be due to wear and age. Let me know what you guys thinks.

Looks like an original , if heavily worn, example by Deumer - the later type with solid area around the eagles head.
