From what the moderators and members have been teaching me, this Eastern Front Medal looks pretty good to me. I didn't get a picture of it, but from the side you can see a little of the color of the helmet. How do you tell things like manufacturers on items like this?

Some will be stamped on the ring with a number, some have certain "Traits" and some are unknown.

A nice medal, Brad. Concur with Ralph, most I have come across were unmarked.

Do you have a pic of the "127" one? Kind of have an idea what to look for.

Don't have a pic of the marking, but here you can just see the end of the stamp on the ring.

These are very hard, if not impossible to pin to a manufacturer unless they're marked.

I've not heard of any 'traits' to tell one manufacturer from another.
