I can comment on the button as this isn't the forum for that item but the Ostmedaille looks like a fine original in average condition for a zinc piece.

Yep, good pieces. Button has the typical crimp on the edges. NH

Hi,
The medal looks fine to me i would say it is an early one, as for the button there was a unit formed from Ex-soldiers - paramilitary between the wars, ie the Weimar Republic. They had a buckle with the same helmet on it, hope this helps.
